I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “Active Solicitation” is a hand-painted and fused glass sculptural wall art piece. The grouping of birds on a wire with the subtleties in their spacing, invites contemplative meandering thoughts about the who’s, what’s, where’s, and why’s in their interactions in this kiln-formed glass window, that shimmers with gold accents, we become the viewers taking in their activity and making our own story.
