I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “Banana Split” is a hand-painted and fused glass sculptural wall art piece. The trio of birds on a wire contrast the vibrant splash of colors; in this kiln-formed glass window, that shimmers with gold accents, cherry cream, fuchsia, and banana yellow, you peer into a window of something delicious.
