I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “Hazelnut Cappuccino” is a hand-painted and fused glass sculptural wall art piece. The birds on a wire hover against a creamy hazelnut and cinnamon dusted sky; in this kiln-formed glass window, that shimmers with gold accents, we become the viewers taking in a serene scene that includes the birds. A meditative moment and a bit of a meta-scape.
