I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “Wisteria Line” is a hand-painted and fused glass sculptural wall art piece. The title and scene might trigger a memory of that distinctive smell of Spring and fuchsia spray of color mingled with the birds resting on the line; in this kiln-formed glass window, that shimmers with gold accents, we become the viewers taking in a serene scene that includes the birds. The meditative moment is a bit of a meta-scape.
